Forge Academy ("the App") is operated by Zima Logistics LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what information the App does and does not collect, and how your data is handled.

Summary: We collect nothing.

Forge Academy is designed with privacy as a first principle. The App operates entirely on-device and makes no outbound network connections at runtime. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information.

No server communication

The App contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party tracking of any kind. After you download the App from the App Store, it makes zero network requests. All functionality — lessons, flashcards, quizzes, progress tracking, and certificate generation — is fully offline.

No accounts

Forge Academy does not require or support user accounts. We do not collect email addresses, usernames, or any other identifying information. You do not sign up, log in, or authenticate with any service to use the App.

Data stored locally on your device

The following data is created and stored locally on your device only:

Your study progress (lessons marked complete, quiz scores, streaks)
Flashcard review intervals and ratings (spaced repetition scheduling state)
Your name, if you enter it for certificate personalisation
Pro purchase unlock status (validated locally via Apple's StoreKit)

This data never leaves your device except through the standard iOS backup mechanisms you control (iCloud backup or local backup via your computer). We have no access to it.

iCloud backup

Like all iOS apps, Forge Academy's local data may be included in your iCloud or iTunes/Finder backup if you have backup enabled. This backup is entirely your own — it is associated with your Apple ID and controlled by your iOS backup settings. Zima Logistics LLC has no access to iCloud or your device backups.

In-App Purchases

The Pro unlock is sold as a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details, billing address, or Apple ID. Apple's privacy policy governs the purchase transaction. We receive only a confirmation from Apple's StoreKit that a valid purchase exists — no personal data is transmitted to us.

Children's privacy

Forge Academy does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Because we collect no personal data, the App is suitable for use by people of all ages.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change our data practices in a meaningful way, we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date above. Because we currently collect no data, any future change that introduces data collection would be a material change and would be communicated clearly.
